Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can 14
- 5 oz diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups uncooked pasta
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: diced pickles, diced tomatoes, chopped lettuce
Instructions:
In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is softened
Drain excess fat
Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, uncooked pasta, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper
Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low
Cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until pasta is cooked and most of the liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally
Once pasta is cooked, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top
Cover and let cheese melt for a few minutes
Serve hot, optionally topping with diced pickles, diced tomatoes, and chopped lettuce for added flavor and texture
